Eligible Applicants: The Prizes are open to UK clinical undergraduate medical students.
Value of Prizes: Two of £400 and two of £200, funded equally by the Edinburgh EAR Congress Educational Trust and the family of Dr Steven Carstairs.
Purpose of Prizes: Reports on personal research on a clinical radiology or clinical oncology topic; essays describing a period of personal experience working in a department clinical radiology or clinical oncology; essays on a topic relevant to clinical radiology or clinical oncology.
Form of Application: A written presentation of up to 4000 words and a supporting statement from a Fellow of the Royal College of Radiologists.
Method of Assessment: Assessment panel nominated by the Royal College of Radiologists. Recommendation for award to be endorsed by Education Board.
